DS Smith Paper, a subsidiary of DS Smith Plc and owner of Kemsley Mill, is looking at the possibility of building a new Sustainable Energy Plant, fuelled by pre-treated waste, to supply energy to the existing paper mill and to expand the amount of sustainable energy currently being produced on site.

Wheelabrator Technologies UK, which has 35 years of experience in building and operating energy from waste facilities, has partnered with E.ON to develop the new plant.
